Why in the world would we pick a location that's not part of the Appalachian Trail? Because Bob Brunnga (WB4APR) maintained a list of sites he gave serious consideration to adding at some point in the future.

In 2024, we decided to fulfill Bob's wish by adding GP-LKOUT to the event.
